Photography by Misty believes in a collaborate effort. Before we pick up a camera, we will get a feel for your vision and appreciate seeing any examples of work that you like. We will come up with a shot list for your products and the angles to capture. We will also discuss if there is a need for any additional props to tell your story?
Usually clients need to ship their products to the photography company and they will be shipped back. At Photography by Misty, you also have the option of droping off and picking up your products at our Plano studio. One of our photographers can also take photos onsite in certain situations.
At Photography by Misty, the client can stay through the start of the session to give feedback and feel secure that their vision is being captured.
Photography by Misty askes that the client send in pristine products that could be put on a store shelf to sell. For example, no scratches or dents, corners of boxes need to be crisp and unopened. With pristine products, editing time is decreased.
From the time the products are dropped off until the images are delivered, it is two weeks.
Some photographers retain the copyright to branded images, even if they are paid for their services. The client usually receives a license for usage (marketing, internal use). Photography by Misty does not work that way. All the images are yours.
Photographers offer a retainer fee based on how often the client needs new images for product launches, website updates and trade show catalogs. At Photography by Misty we also have a content concierge service where we file and organize your images for easy access.
