How do you translate my brand into visuals?

Any photographery should get to know you and your brand before picking up their camera. At Photography by Misty, we start with our questionaire (link to it) to learn about you, your business' mission statement and culture, and your current messaging. We will do a deep dive to find out what makes you stand out from the competition. We will meet your employees.

How do you plan for a branding photo shoot?

All photographers will come up with a shot list. At Photography by Misty we always plan to get a mix of strategic images -- candid and posed, it doesn't matter if you are a one-person operation or have a team. Misty's photographer will take photos in the office or on site. If you need a midel or two, that is not a problem.

And the client can take it a step further by opting to go with a behind-the-scenes video for their customers.

Do you help with concepts and wardrobe selection?

Any professional photographer will help guide you in the right direction. The more planning you do first with your internal team and then with the photographer, the better. Photography by Misty will help fine tune your ideas and suggest details you might not have thought of such as decluttering an office or washing the company truck. We can also offer wardrobe suggestions and do multiple shoots if you want to change from professional to branded attire.

How do you direct clients to ensure a natural look?

Proper posture, angles and smiles are some of the things Photography by Misty's photographers and assistants look for during a branding shoot. Consumers can spot fake posing and smiles. We want our clients to be at ease during photo shoots and will go the extra mile (role playing, telling a joke, cracking on the boss) to get real facial expressions and genuine emotions.

When will I receive the images?

Photography by Misty's editor will have the edited images completed in 7 to 10 days. The images will be placed in a gallery with a download link emailed to the client.

Who owns the copyright to the photographs?

Some photographers retain the copyright to branded images, even if they are paid for their services. The client usually receives a license for usage (marketing, internal use). Photography by Misty does not work that way. All the images are yours.
