Photography by Misty is built as a team—not a one-person operation—so we can flex to meet the needs of different departments, overlapping schedules, and multiple locations. Depending on the assignment, that may mean several photographers covering an event, three headshot stations operating simultaneously, or headshots being created while another photographer documents conference sessions. Clients can also bring a team they already trust when an event takes them to another city.

Consistency is intentional. Every photographer, including seasoned professionals, is carefully onboarded to our established operating procedures and service standards. Preparation, punctuality, client communication, lighting, posing, how we interact with attendees, and the delivery of final images are all part of a shared approach. The photographer behind the camera may change; our commitment to the client does not.

Our most important hiring criterion is a genuine passion for people. We listen to what individuals like—or dislike—about past portraits, then take the time to coach expression and body language, refine posing, and light them thoughtfully. At events, we put attendees at ease and, when possible, connect with speakers before they take the stage or during rehearsal, helping them understand how a brief pause or glance toward the camera can create a more engaging image.

We photograph candid moments intentionally, capturing enough frames to select expressions that make everyone look natural, confident, and engaged. Our goal is not merely to document attendance. We create images the subjects feel good about and the company is proud to share.

Behind the scenes, we listen, anticipate needs, and make coordination easier through clear communication, established workflows, and practical tools such as shareable headshot registration links. We approach every assignment as an extension of the client’s team, caring for their people, brand, priorities, and professional reputation as we would our own.

We also understand that the person who hires us is putting their own credibility on the line. We deliver what we promise, when we promise it. Financial accountability is part of that trust: the agreed-upon price is the price clients can plan for, without unexpected charges that push an invoice beyond the original agreement.

Whether documenting a 3-day conference, creating hundreds of headshots in a day or both, final galleries are delivered in 7-10 days. Headshots are genuinely enhanced so people look like themselves on their very best day. Evernt images are individually edited for color, exposure and composition. Final galleries are categorized for searching ease. Our in-house editor also creates web-sized versions of event photography. Daily highlight reels are available upon request. Royalty-free usage rights belong to our clients.
