When Photography by Misty became a certified woman-owned business, Misty vowed that 10 % any business received by being a certified business (from a headshot in the Plano studio to the Women's Business Council Southwest's annual gala in Dallas), would be contributed to women struggling to accomplish independence in other countries.

This year, we have chosen Brother Vellies. They purchase products from women entrepreneurs in other countries.

We have subscribed to their monthly "something special," which is a subscription to receive a little something every month from their unique establishment. A sustainably made comfort item that is designed and HANDMADE with love.

This year, Photography By Misty would like to show our appreciation for our clients by gifting them a little "something special." When we receive our item of the month from @brothervellies, we will host a drawing via Instagram live selecting a client that we worked with the month prior and gifting them with the product that we received for the month!
